ALSO IoT Signage+ Quick Start Guide

To display the content, you can either do it on the Smart TV, Otrum simulated TV (dsig.tv), or at the Demo screen
Click on the "+" tile in Otrum platform to add the screen
- If you chose to use the Smart TV, you need to retrieve the "Install code", as explained in this setup
- If you want to simulate the screen (such as TV), you can use dsig.tv site, with already provided Install code
- If you don't have a dedicated screen, you can always add the "Demo screen" and display the content right away
For advanced users, an Otrum Media Player for RaspberryPi is also an option to display the content on a dedicated screen

Note: For your convenience, do check the list of approved screens

Type the "Signage+" at the upper right tabs, in the Templates section
- Choose the Workplace+ public template
- Double click on the template to copy it on your site. You can't use the public template directly in the scheduler
Click on the connected screen to open the scheduler. You'll drag-and-drop your desired reference template herein
After you set up the desired template, you can change the interval of displaying it, along with the start and end time during the day
Once done, click Save and confirm that you want to push the content on the screen

Note: Once you push the content within the scheduler, it may take a couple of seconds to be displayed on your screen

To enable the template to fully display the data from an IoT device, you need to configure these settings
- This is mandatory to fetch the data from your device within the ALSO IoT Platform
To configure the Ground Token, go to "Admin" on the upper left navigation bar in the Otrum platform and then open "API Connectors"
- Copy the Ground Token from the ALSO IoT Platform and paste it in the related API Connector
To configure the Device ID, go to "Admin" on the upper left navigation bar in the Otrum platform and then open "API Templates"
- Copy the Device ID from the ALSO IoT Platform and paste it in the related API Template
Click on Save and close and return to the Home screen and finalise this step

Note: it is important to have the Elsys CO2 device to display the content properly within the template

A reference template for the Workplace+ enables you to book the event in your calendar simply by pressing the "Book" button on the screen
You can integrate the Otrum signage with your Office365 calendar and interactive door signs
Or, integrate with on-premise Microsoft Exchange and interactive door signs
You can also "bind" the meeting rooms to your calendar, so the signage screen displays all the meeting rooms and whether the events are currently taking place
- Look at the tutorial for binding the screens together

Note: When you book the room in Outlook calendar, it will be presented within Binding in 2-3 minutes

Next to the Workplace+ template, we have developed the one to work with the People counting. Here is the device we use for it
As you put the Workplace+ template on the scheduler, repeat the same process from the step 3 to add this template
Once done, the Signage+ will work together with People counter device, and your screen will display if a person can enter the area
You have to repeat the procedure from the step 4 (Ground Token and Device ID) to fetch the data for this template

Note: To create the "Currently IN Total" value for this template, simply follow this tutorial
