Once your reseller partner orders the Ground subscription within the ALSO IoT Platform, you’ll get an email to activate the account 2. Click on *Complete your account* to activate a new Ground and start using the service 3. This account is needed to activate all the Workplace+ devices and collect the data ## Unboxing and checking [![WP+Step2](https://www.allthingstalk.com/hubfs/AllThingsTalk%20March2018/ALSO/Images/Wokrplace%20Plus%20Reseller/QSG/WP+Step2.svg) ](https://www.allthingstalk.com/workplaceplus/quickstartguide#modal-step-2_div) 1. Open the box and ensure that everything you ordered is inside 2. Check the activation codes on the back of all sensor devices 3. Write down the activation codes as you might not be able to read them after installing the devices. You’ll need these codes for the device activation procedure ## Install the LoRa gateway [![WP+Step3](https://www.allthingstalk.com/hubfs/AllThingsTalk%20March2018/ALSO/Images/Wokrplace%20Plus%20Reseller/QSG/WP+Step3.svg) ](https://www.allthingstalk.com/workplaceplus/quickstartguide#modal-step-3_div) 1. Screw the white flat antenna into the connector at the side of the gateway 2. Insert the provided LAN cable into the only LAN port 3. Plug in the power adapter to the gateway and to the power outlet 4. The gateway will have the first LED on, which states that the gateway is turned on 5. That's it. You can continue to activate your devices and see the data on IoT platform within minutes! ## Activate all devices [![wp+step-4](https://www.allthingstalk.com/hubfs/AllThingsTalk%20March2018/ALSO/Images/Workplace%20Plus%20Welcome/WP+QuickStartGuide/wp+step-4.svg) ](https://www.allthingstalk.com/workplaceplus/quickstartguide#modal-step-4_div) 1. Go to [https://also.allthingstalk.com](https://also.allthingstalk.com) and log in 2. Enter your Ground and click on +NEW DEVICE 3. Type the “Activation code” provided and click FIND 4. Done! Your sensor device is added to the Ground 5. Repeat the process for the rest of your Workplace+ Devices **IMPORTANT: Activation codes are placed within the device!** Do re-type them somewhere on your PC/Cloud, so you can have them again if needed. ## Install all devices at desired locations [![workplace-illustration-5](https://www.allthingstalk.com/hubfs/AllThingsTalk%20March2018/ALSO/Images/Workplace%20Plus/Welcome%20Page/Illustrations/workplace-illustration-5.svg) ](https://www.allthingstalk.com/workplaceplus/quickstartguide#modal-step-5_div) 1. Insert the batteries in the device, put back the lid and the PIR sensor will blink red, then green after 1-2 seconds and finally in the orange color 2. Check that you receive the sensor data on your Ground (note that this can take up to 6-7 minutes) 3. Install the devices by positioning them in the desired area or under the desk 4. Now that you’ve connected the gateway to the LoRa network, configured all devices in your Ground and physically installed them, the user friendly data visualisation is a way to go 2. Therefore, create a first Pinboard, customise it to your needs and intelligently determine data patterns over time 3. Sensor Map: shows an actual position of Ground devices on a desired image. Upload the plan or a photo of your workspace and add a Pin for each device. Set a color for the important state changes and stay noitifed. Further, you can share the Sensor Map with others 2. Integrations: You can start to use data from your Ground more extensively in other applications using our APIs, Webhooks and other integration options ## Work in progress #### Place for the content once written This section has no design because the content is not yet defined.
