How to register with ACTILITY THINGPARK IoT NETWORK

and connect your LoRaWAN™ Rapid Development Kit

Follow the steps below to register with ThingPark and connect your Kit

  • Sign up with the ThingPark Portal at this link: partners.thingpark.com
  • Make sure to register your LoRaWAN™ Gateway in the ‘Network Manager’ in the left hand side menu bar.
  • Select the ‘Device Manager’ section and provision AllThingsTalk Maker application by creating a new ‘Application Server’.
  • Click ‘Add Application Servers’, select ‘JSON Untyped’ as content type, set 'Routing Strategy' to 'Blast' and add ‘https://api.allthingstalk.io/proxy/network/thingpark’ as ‘destination’ in the ‘routing’ section.
  • Afterwards create an ‘AS Routing Profile’ which points to the previously created ‘Application Server’.
  • Now you’re ready to register and activate your devices:
    • Select the Devices section, and click ‘add’ to activate your device.
    • Select ‘ABP’ and complete by adding your LoRaWAN™ keys (DevEUI, DevAddr, NwkSKey and AppSKey), select ’Device Profile ‘ATT_LORA_RDK_V1’ and choose the AS Profile you have created.

How to register with AllThingsTalk Maker

and connect your LoRaWAN™ Rapid Development Kit

The use of the AllThingsTalk Maker application is simple and free for prototyping purposes.

    • Register at http://maker.allthingstalk.com with your email address and a chosen User ID and pasword.
    • AllThingsTalk Maker organises members and devices in Grounds, a better way to manage things and data access.
    • To connect your Kit in a Ground, click 'Connect a device'
    • In the 'LoRaWAN™ devices' section Choose 'LoRaWAN™ Rapid Development Kit'
    • Select the 'ThingParkPartner' tile.
    • Name your device and follow the ThingParkPartner registration process:
      • Enter a 'Device EUI'
      • Select 'Activation method' of choice 'OTAA' or 'ABP'
      • Enter a 'Required keys'
    • Click the 'Connect' button
    • You’re all set.
