The Digital Catapult programme to empower digital startups and SME’s across London to embrace the opportunities of the Internet of Things, called Things Connected, is live. This infrastructure is a free to use LoRaWAN™ based network which, with 50 base stations, will be the largest LoRaWAN ™ based network in the UK.

As partner to the Things Connected initiative, AllThingsTalk offers its products to enable SME’s and startups to rapidly build prototypes and pilot projects using the power of IoT technologies and a LoRaWAN™ based network.

AllThingsTalk LoRaWAN™ Rapid Development Kits include an Arduino compatible microcontroller, a LoRa ™ radio module for easy access to the Things Connected network and a set of carefully selected sensors. Things Connected and AllThingsTalk have carefully developed a convenient on boarding process to connect the kits to the Things Connected LoRaWAN™ network. All these elements make the AllThingsTalk LoRaWAN™ RDK a great tool for developers to quickly and conveniently prototype ideas and discover the power of IoT.

AllThingsTalk Maker enables innovators to focus on the business logic of their IoT application as it lets them connect devices over the IoT network and seamlessly manages devices as well as users, organising access and usage of the collected data. AllThingsTalk LoRaWAN™ Rapid Development Kits include free access to AllThingsTalk Maker.
